I started making knives at the beginning of 2012, people seemed to like what I was making, and told me I should make knives and sell them; so here we are.
When I made the descision to make knives to sell, I wanted to make a quality hard working knife with unique designs, but that are also affordable, so more people can enjoy them.
I am from South Louisiana, my people are Cajun, and I've been gone from home a long time. My knives are named for things that remind me of home.
When it comes to the materials that can be used to make a knife, there are a lot of choices, from medium carbon to exotic stainless steels.
I make my knives from Nicholson files, which are either a W1 or W2 high carbon tool steel.
I choose to use files for the unique character that the file marks provide and because a file is made to cut, same thing a knife is meant for.
My knives are heat treated and the tempering is between 56 and 59 HRC.
For the present time, I am not taking custom orders,
but am working on some knives for sale.
As I get a knife ready, I will post it in the "For sale" page here on my website.
